Day 16 – Honesty & Self-Will
The hardest lie to spot is the one we’re still living.
We say we want freedom.
We pray for abstinence.
We claim we’re willing.
But self-will has a sneaky way of dressing up like honesty.
It says, “Just this once.”
It says, “That doesn’t count.”
It says, “You’re doing pretty good—for you.”
Self-will doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it whispers just loud enough to pull us back into the ditch.
But honesty—real honesty—starts when we pause long enough to say:
“I know what I’m doing right now… and it’s not God’s will.”

Call to Action
Spot it. Speak it. Surrender it.
Before the bite. Before the binge. Before the lie becomes your life again.
👣 Today’s Challenge:
Tell the truth to someone before it becomes damage control.
- Text your sponsor.
- Call a friend.
- Write it out.
- Say it to God out loud.
One truth spoken early is worth a thousand apologies later.
