Theme: Getting back into rhythm. Sloppy discipline, but no surrender.
Journal-Style Entry:
Today I realized something: I’ve been playing recovery like an out-of-tune guitar. The right notes are there, but they’re off. I’m half-measuring food, mumbling prayers, skipping corners on my journaling. Still abstinent, but not sharp.
It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being honest. And the honest truth is, I can do better. Not harder. Not meaner. Just cleaner. Calmer. More tuned in.
So I tuned a few strings today. Measured my lunch. Said a real Third Step Prayer. Read something slow instead of scrolling fast. Felt better already.
This isn’t punishment—it’s practice.
Still…
Still messy.
Still learning how to tune without snapping strings.
Still not binging.
Still grateful I caught the drift.
Still showing up for this life.
